Newborn Session with siblings


You might think that a family of 5 at a newborn session is a but chaotic, but honestly I have system and it’s chaos with a plan, lol! I always do family photos first. I gage how the toddler siblings are. If they need time to warm up I do parent photos first. But most of the time I do sibling photos first because they tend to be a little stunned in their new surroundings and cooperate more.


I do a combo of back light images, that are my absolute favorite in black and white. Then we move onto a solid backdrop. Once family photos are done that older kiddos are free to go. Dad or a grandparent can take them home or to a park, but they are also more than welcome to stay and have some time with you on the couch. I’m happy to do whatever is easiest for the family.


Cooper’s newborn session went absolutely amazing, and I’m obsessed with ow the sibling photos turned out. They make such cute little crew. I can’t wait to see all the shenanigans they get into.
