Big News for My South Bay Families!
Every holiday season, some of my favorite families make the drive from San Jose, Morgan Hill, Gilroy and Hollister for my Christmas mini sessions. And every year someone asks, “Any chance you’ll do these closer to home?” Well, I’m so excited to share that in 2027, Christmas mini sessions are coming to the South Bay! I’m looking at locations in San Jose, Morgan Hill and Hollister (maybe even more than one!), and I’d love your help deciding.
Get First Pick of 2027 Dates
Mini sessions fill up fast, so I’m starting a South Bay list. Join and you’ll be the first to hear about locations and dates before they open to the public. No spam, just a heads-up when it’s time to book.
Can’t Wait? Join Me in Monterey This Year
My Milk & Cookies Christmas mini sessions are happening at my Monterey studio on November 4, 5, 7 & 8. Little ones come in their holiday jammies, climb onto a cozy white bed surrounded by twinkle lights and frosted trees, and enjoy real milk and cookies while we capture all the giggles. Sessions are $425, with a $100 deposit to hold your spot.
Monterey is about an hour and fifteen minutes from San Jose and an easy, scenic drive from Gilroy and Hollister, which makes it the perfect excuse for a family day trip.

Make a Day of It: Things to Do in Monterey
Turn your session into a mini holiday getaway! A few of my family-friendly favorites:
- Monterey Bay Aquarium & Cannery Row: Say hi to the sea otters and jellies, then stroll Cannery Row for treats and window shopping.
- Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary: November is peak season for the overwintering monarchs. It’s free, and volunteer docents are often there midday to help you spot the clusters.
- Dennis the Menace Playground: A Monterey classic for little ones, open 10 a.m. to dusk (it’s closed most Tuesdays in the off-season, but none of my session days are Tuesdays!).
- Old Fisherman’s Wharf: Sample clam chowder, spot the sea lions and grab some saltwater taffy for the ride home.
- Coastal Recreation Trail: An easy, stroller-friendly walk right along the water with tide pools and ocean views.
- Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fairytale cottages, cozy cafes, holiday shopping and a sunset on Carmel Beach.
- 17-Mile Drive: Stunning coastline and the famous Lone Cypress (there’s a per-car entry fee).
A New Holiday Tradition
Whether you join me in Monterey this year or wait for the South Bay in 2027, I can’t wait to see your little ones in their jammies with cookie crumbs on their cheeks. These sessions are one of my favorite traditions of the whole year, and I’d love for your family to be part of it.
